Welcome to Hidden Faces of Myanmar


Day (1) Arrival of Myanmar ( D ) 

After landing in Myanmar at Yangon International airport, your local expert will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. No activities are scheduled for this day allowing you to relax and prepare for the coming adventures. Dinner will include a delightful Burmese meal.

Day (2) Yangon lives & Shwe Dagon Pagoda (B/L)

  After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be briefed with an introduction about Myanmar history, culture and customs. Afterward your Immersive Golden Land Travels’ local expert will take you for a morning walking excursion of Yangon which will include a tour of British colonial architecture, and a visit to the Bogyoke Aung San market, which is one of the largest indoor markets in South East Asia. You will explore the market and enjoy lunch in the market mingling with local buyers and sellers. And then, you will return to your hotel to relax or enjoy the pool to avoid the afternoon heat.     In the evening we will visit the world-renowned pagoda named: Shwe Dagon Pagoda. According to historians and legends, the Pagoda was built 2500 years ago. It is important as a religious site for worshiping but also for its 6th and 21st-century mixture of artwork which can still be viewed. After visiting the Shwe Dagon Pagoda, dinner will take place at a local restaurant to further acquaint yourself with Myanmar cuisine and customs.

Day (3) Train Yangon to Mawlamyine ( B/ D )


Breakfast is served at the hotel and leave for the Train Station to catch up a train Yangon to Mawlamyine which one of the beautiful train routes in the country. Mawlamyine formerly known as ( Moulmein ) is the capital of the Mon State and its fourth largest city in the country with a population of 326,000. It was made very first British capital after the First Anglo-Burmese War in 1824-26 and remained as their capital from 1827 to 1852.


Train takes you about 7-9 hours. As your train is slowly moving toward to Mawlamyine you will be gone through countrysides to see the countless of villages, crop fields, sceneries and seeing local vendors In & Out on the train at multi small train stations to understand typical lives. And this is probably the best time for you to see typical lives. Interact and make friend with local, have conversation with them to learn about their lives.


You should be expecting to get Mawlamyine in the late afternoon. Once you reach to Mawlamyine, drive directly to your hotel for relaxing and dinner will take a place along river.

Day (4) Mawlamyine lives and World Largest Reclining Buddha ( B/ L ) 


Leave the hotel early in the morning for a bustling colourful local market, where you can observe the grassroots lives and understand how their morning lives playing in here. Afterward drive to World Largest Reclining Buddha. It called “ Win Sein Tawya “ Explore painting insight of this giant Buddha which representing the holy history of Buddha and his teaching. This might be a good time to discuss and understand the history of Buddha and his teaching if you are interesting. Have a local lunch nearby, then heading back to your hotel to avoid afternoon heat.


In the late evening walking around in this small town to explore around and quick visit the cultural museum of Mon, then climbing up to Kyaithalain Pagoda where you will be watching the sunset on the top of this pagoda along with a view of the city. Dinner will follow after visiting the pagoda.

Day (5) Drive to Hpa An-visit to a local school. (B/L/D) 


Leave the hotel in the morning for Hpa An 1.5 hours.  Along the way to Hpa An you will be visiting a Karen local private school. Its free education centre  and where poor teens come to learn and receive free education who not able to support on their own. Since the school is located outside the town, so they often get a struggling for the funds to sustain for the school. Meet with local students and headmaster of the school, have conversation with them to understand more detail about it.


Once you have met with students and teachers. You will be visiting around nearby for a village. Afterward cook for your own lunch with local teens, will then continue to Hpa An. Get check in and take a break. 


In the evening you will visit to an old man who is a local expert of this area, have some tea at his house while having conversation. Will then proceed to central Lake of Hpa An where young local come to relax and enjoin their time in the evening. enjoin watching sunset in here and afterward have dinner along the Lake.

Day (6) Explore Hpa An’s caves and Drive  to Golden Rock ( B/ L ) 


After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be exploring numbers of centuries natural magic caves in Hpa An. Once you have explored caves, then continue driving to Kyaiktiyo (also known as Golden Rock Pagoda) for 2.5 hours. After reaching at the foot of Golden Rock take a local truck , connect to a cable and climb all the ways up to the top. Check into your hotel, take a break for a while.


In the evening you will be walking toward to Golden Rock with local while watching for a magic sunset on the top of the Pagoda. Afterward have a local dinner.

Day (7) Drive from Golden Rock to Ngwe Saung Beach ( B/L ) 


Wake up early in the morning to catch up the sunrise on the top before climbing down the hill.  After watching the sunrise get back to your hotel then drive straight to Ngwe Saung Beach, one of the Beautiful beaches in the country.


Driving hours will  be 6 to 8 hours. You will make a few stops along the way to have a local lunch and have some Burmese tea. You should be reaching to Ngwe Saung Beach in early evening. Get settle into your beautiful beach hotel. Dinner will follow along the Andaman Sea.

Day (8) Free in the morning ( B / L ) 


After having breakfast, you will be free until afternoon. In the afternoon, you will be exploring finishing villages by biking. explore in the fishing villages to see inhabit lives, have some coconut juice. Seafood for lunch will follow after biking around in the village. Afterward heading back to your hotel and you will be on your own at the beach.

Day (9) Free Day ( B ) 


Today is yours, do what you love, relaxing, reading, playing games, swimming or walking along the breach and have your own meals.

Day (10) Driving back to Yangon ( B / L ) 


After having breakfast at the hotel, Say goodbye to the beach and driving back to Yangon. No activities tonight just relax at the hotel and have a farewell dinner, talk with your travel mates for your last day of in Myanmar.

Day (11) Program ends and Fly Home ( B ) 


There is a saying: All good things come to an end. And so we at Immersive Golden Land Travels must say ‘Tar Tar’ which is goodbye in Burmese. After breakfast, you will be driven to the Yangon International Airport. At the airport, we will assist you with documents and ensure you all is set for a relaxing flight. If anyone on the program would like to remain on your own in Myanmar or would like to travel to other countries in South East Asia we are happy to help and/or advise you with any questions or needs you might have.

Note: Our goal is to provide you with the most rewarding experience as we outlined for the daily activities and times in the itinerary but Immersive Golden Land Co,.Ltd reserve the right to cancel your program or alteration activities and program can be substituted for your safety reason vary due to unpredictable weather and local circumstances.

Terms & Conditions


Rate: All rates at IGL are non commissionable, and they are already included 10% service charge & 5% of government tax.


Payment: IGL requests prepayment for all bookings. Full payment needs to be made 30 days before the programs start.


Child Policy: IGL provides 100% Free Of Charge (FOC) for child under the age of 2. And we charge 75% for child (usually under the age of 8) who could stay with parents sharing a bed for accommodation.


Complimentary: IGL provides 1 FOC to a program leader for a group of minimum 15 Pax.


Cancellation & No show: Cancellation must be made 30 days before the programs start, otherwise IGL has the right to charge cancellation as follow;

1). Within 30 – 15 days, before the program start, would be charged 25%

2). Within 14 – 8 days, before the program start, would be charged 50%

3). Within 7 days, before the program start, would be charged 100%

4). No show would be charged 100%
