Day (1) Arrival of Myanmar ( D ) 

After landing at Mandalay International airport, you will be welcomed by Immersive Golden Land Travels’ local experts and transferred to your hotel. Unpack and refresh before departing to see the U Bein Bridge which was built in 1846, it is considered to be the world’s longest teakwood bridge. Walk the length of the bridge and return by boat to watch the sunset on Taungthaman Lake. Return to your hotel for a relaxing dinner and early bedtime to adjust to jet lag.

Day (2) Mandalay and Island ( B / L / D ) 

After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for the Mayachan boat jetty to catch a boat to Mingun Temple which is located on the west bank of the Irrawaddy River.

The Mingun Temple was intentionally built as the world’s largest religious site in 1790 but sadly the donor passed away before finishing his greatest project. Although he could not complete his dream it is still one of the largest temples in the world with a height of over 100 meters.  It is impressive to see local visitors pay their respects.

When you are finished visiting the temple, continue to another amazing site, that of the “Mingu Bell” which is made of bronze, weighs 90 tons and was built in the same period of the Mingun temple. Today, it’s believed to be the world’s largest uncracked bell.

Afterward, continue sailing to reach the village of Myay Zon. Explore this charming village, meet with the villagers and learn about the socio-economics of this community. Then proceed to a nearby island where you will stay overnight to observe the magic of the night where stars, a few fires, and the sound of the water lapping on the shores will lull you to sleep.

Day (3) Irrawaddy Dolphins  – Mandalay (B/L)


Wake up to enjoy a very typical Burmese breakfast, then take a small boat with local fishermen to search for the rare Irrawaddy Dolphins. The dolphins are rare because they are found in only three rivers in the world, the Irrawaddy River (Myanmar), the Mahakam (Indonesian Borneo) and the Mekong (Vietnam).  It is also rare because it has been identified as an Endangered Species.

Observing these exclusive mammals in their natural environment will be a rare sight. It joins the ranks of the shark and the sea turtle as some of the oldest creatures on Earth.

While looking for the dolphins you will watch the unique fishing methods, passed down from generation to generation, used to call the dolphins.  A remarkable effort by the organization: World Wildlife Fund (WWF ) work with the fisherman to create a viable habitat where fisherman and dolphins can live in harmony. This adventure offers you a remarkable example of symbolism between man and nature, and how they must live together allowing the other to survive.

Afterward, you will slowly boat back to Mandalay enjoying the view of the city from the water. On the way back you will be stopping at charming villages to explore Rive lives on the banks. Once back at your hotel you will relax before heading out for dinner at a special restaurant which includes a traditional Myanmar show for your enjoyment.

Day (4) Mandalay to Bagan (B/L)


After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for the airport for a short flight to the city of Bagan.

 Bagan is the most magical and impressive city in all of Myanmar due to its 3000 pagodas and temples situated within 16 Sq Km. After landing at Nyaung U Airport (Bagan) drive directly to your hotel to quickly check into your hotel and drop off your bags. We will then leave the hotel to start your exploration of the temples and pagodas. Not to worry, you will not visit all 3000 buildings, we will take you to the most significant and impressive temples and pagodas, and allow you to see any that you might want to include. Each will have a unique story to tell whether it be its construction style, size, history or location.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant during the time while touring the temples. Once done you will return to your hotel to relax and escape the afternoon heat. Once the evening arrives, you will journey out again to view the sunset on a hill overlooking the temples which bask in the setting sun’s golden light. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day (5) Full-day Tour  Bagan (B/L)

Today will be a more relaxed morning. Leave your hotel after breakfast, then enjoy touring by bicycle breaking for lunch, touring a bit more before returning back to your hotel to refresh and freshen up. In the late afternoon, you will be taking a private boat to view the beautiful sunset on the grand and powerful Irrawaddy River. Cold drinks will be served on the boat and dinner at a local restaurant will await you after your boat excursion. A real treat awaits you at the restaurant, as you have dinner you will enjoy a Burmese Traditional Puppet show, fun for the old and young.       Overnight in Bagan    

Day (6) Fly Bagan to Yangon ( B/ L ) 

Breakfast is served at the hotel, then we leave for the Airport  and fly out to Yangon. Once you landed at Yangon airport you will be taking to your hotel to take a break for while, then have lunch, afterward you will have a walking tour in the city to see lives of the Yangon. Have some burmese tea at a local teashop, then continue to visit the world-renowned pagoda named: Shwedagon Pagoda. According to historians and legends, the Pagoda was built 2500 years ago. It is important as a religious site for worshiping but also for its 6th and 21st-century mixture of artwork which can still be viewed. 

After visiting the Shwedagon Pagoda, dinner will take place at a local restaurant to further acquaint yourself with Myanmar cuisine and customs.

Day (7 ) Fly Myanmar to Thailand ( B / D ) 


Breakfast is served at your hotel, we will then drive to the Yangon airport to fly to Bangkok, Thailand.  Once you arrive in Bangkok, an Immersive Golden Land Travels’ expert will meet you and take you to have a traditional Thai massage. Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions. There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is gently stretched and rocked.  If you have never experienced a Thai massage before, you will be pleasantly surprised. Note * having massage will be on your own. 

After your relaxing massage, you will have lunch before connecting to your next flight to the city of Sukhothai, Thailand. (Note: there are no direct flights from Yangon to Sukothai, hence the stop in Bangkok.)  After arriving in Sukothai you will drive to the Sappraiwan Elephant Resort and Sanctuary. This will be your temporary home for the next two days.

Day (8 ) Elephant Sanctuary ( B/ L/ D ) 

At Sappraiwan Elephant Resort and Sanctuary you will enjoy waking up in a jungle, served breakfast then start your day with an introduction about Asian Elephants.  This will prepare you for a memorable trek into the jungle with the elephants, watching them eat, bath, and communicate with each. You will be surprised to learn about elephants while you watch them in their natural habitat. For example, did you know elephants eat 18 hours a day and are a matriarchal society?  After your trek with the elephants, you will be served a traditional Thai lunch. In in the afternoon, you will return to the elephants,  learning how to use positive reinforcement training to prepare elephants if medical care is ever needed. You will also learn how to make vitamin balls which is a favorite treat of the elephants.  Dinner will be in town, followed by free time on your own to visit the night food market.

Day (9) Elephant Activities (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the camp, you will learn about elephant food harvesting and planting in the morning. Thai Cooking Class will be run by a local Thai chef, and you will have a chance to cook your own lunch. In the afternoon, you will join Elephant Enrichment Activities or Herbal Remedy Making. Dinner will be served at the camp, and tonight activity will be Night Safari Walk.

Day (10) Bangkok (B/L)


After breakfast, you say good bay to the elephants and drive to the airport to arrive in Bangkok. Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will go straight to your hotel to drop off your bags and head out to see the ever-bustling Bangkok.

Your first place to see is Royal Grand Palace. Explore the Palace for a while, then next visit is Wat Pho, the largest reclining Buddha in Thailand. After this full morning return to your hotel to take a refresh before going out for a VIP Cruise dinner on the Chaopaya River which is the heart of Bangkok.

Day (11) Fly to Luang Prabang, Laos (B/L)


Leave the hotel for the airport after having breakfast and fling out to Luang Prabang, Laos a World Heritage City.  Once you land at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be welcomed by Immersive Golden Land Travels’ expert and transferred to your hotel and to take a short break to relax.  In the late afternoon, you will visit Phousi Hill, with a short hike. Once you reach the top you will have a 360-degree view of Luang Prabang and watch the sunset settle on the ancient city.

Once the sun sets you will enjoy the very popular night market, where you can shop for many colorful items including art, clothing, food, woodwork and much more.  Afterward, enjoy dinner at Tamnak, Laos.

Day (12) Kayaking on the Nam Ou River (B/L)


Today your tour guide will take you out of the city for the kayaking on the Nam Ou River one of the most important rivers of Laos. While drifting the river you will see local Lao people and how the live their lives dependent on the river. As you proceed down the river you will reach where the Nam Ou River meets the mighty Mekong River. At this point, you will stop and visit the holy Tham Ting Cave and learn a bit of the history of a former Laotian king. After visiting the cave you will continue to boat to Whisky Village a weaving village where you will have a chance to visit the weavers. At this point, we will leave the kayaks behind and head to a loacl restaurant for local lunch. 

After lunch you will wonder around the city of Luang Prabang by visiting national Museum and couple of old temples. after finishing city tour you will go back to hotel and get some rest then be ready for your dinner.

Day (13) Visit Elephant Camp and Krungsi Waterfall (B/L)

Today  we will drive to an elephant sanctuary which is called Mandalaos situated in the lush hills, followed by spending time with the elephants and learning about their lives, then trekking into the hills with them. At this point, you will also learn about the men who live and care for the elephants, these men are called mahouts.   

After spending time with the elephants a whole morning, it is time to say goodbye to your new friends and visit the Krungsi Waterfalls by hiking, on the way you will visit to local villages. These waterfalls are some of the most beautiful in Southeast Asia and it is here where you can enjoy swimming in pure blue waters. Return to your hotel for dinner and go to bed early as you will go to morning offering of the monks.

Day (14) Morning Alm Offering, Explore Luang Prabang – fly to Phnom Penh (B/L)


Wake up early to see 300 monks perform their morning routine of the Morning Alms.  You will participate in giving offerings such as sticky rice, or some other foods. When finished making your offering foods to monks you will have the opportunity to visit the morning local market to explore the local lifestyle, see local products, and try some of the local food offered by the merchants.

Head back to your hotel for breakfast, then head out visit the downtown area and explore a temple tour. Head back to your hotel to pack your bags and prepare for your next adventure in the country of Cambodia. You will have lunch on the way to the airport. 

After you landed at Phenom penh Airport you will check in directly to your hotel. Afterward you will learn about Camboida Genocide History at S21 Prison (or) Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the killing field. Although Cambodia and it’s people are lovely, it has had many years of nightmarish war and genocide in it’s not so long ago history. During those periods over two million people were killed. Today you will have a chance to hear directly from our local expert about this horrible time in Cambodia’s history. After finished city tour go back to your hotel and be ready for your dinner.   Over Night In Phenom Penh.  
      Day (15) The Bear Conservation Project  at “Free the bear organization” (B/L)     Today you will jump into your bus and drive to the bear conservation project named Free The Bears for the day. This organization fights to save the emblematic Southasian Moon and Sun bear.  This non-profit organization does amazing work to the stop poaching of these unique animals and by visiting this sanctuary you will help the bears achieve their freedom. At the sanctuary, you will save help feed the bears and watch them as they play and swim.  This will be a unique opportunity to see these amazing bears up close. At the end of your visit, return to town for dinner and a good night’s rest.   Over night in Phenom Penh  

Day (16) Fly to Siem Reap and wonder of city Tour (B/L)

Today you will take an early flight to Siem Reap, the flying time will be an hour. When you landed in Siem Reap, you will go straight to your hotel to check in. Then prepare for your city tour. After finish preparing, leave for Silk Farm to experience how silk is made from silkworms and spun to create different grades of silk. Following this you will have lunch. Afterward, you will continue your visit to Artism Angkor the place, where  local people produce Stone and wood curving products.

Finally, enjoy dinner as you watch the Phare Circus Show which is a combination of theater, music, dance, and modern circus arts which tell uniquely Cambodian stories. You will experience historical folk stories performed by talented Cambodian youth.

Day (17) Angkor Wat Tour (B/L)

Today you will be touring one of the wonders of the world: Angkor Wat and Bayon Temple. You will be awestruck when you see the large architectural site of art, buildings, sculptures, and gardens created centuries ago.  There is much to see at Angkor Wat and depending on what you would like to view, various paths can be taken. We will begin by exploring an overview of the site to give you a basic understanding of the history and structure.

Lunch at a local restaurant near Angkor Wat and then go visit for another temple called Ta- Prohm Temple, known as Tune Raider Temple. Return to your hotel and relax till dinner time and a visit to the night market.

    Day (18) Airport day and Goodbye (B)   As your program ends today, Immersive Golden Land Travels will transfer you to the airport. If anyone on the program would like to stay on your own or travel to other countries in Southeast Asia, we are happy to help you to assist or advise.   Have a safe flight and we hope to see and serve you again.

Terms & Conditions


Rate: All rates at IGL are non commissionable, and they are already included 10% service charge & 5% of government tax.


Payment: IGL requests prepayment for all bookings. Full payment needs to be made 30 days before the programs start.


Child Policy: IGL provides 100% Free Of Charge (FOC) for child under the age of 2. And we charge 75% for child (usually under the age of 8) who could stay with parents sharing a bed for accommodation.


Complimentary: IGL provides 1 FOC to a program leader for a group of minimum 15 Pax.


Cancellation & No show: Cancellation must be made 30 days before the programs start, otherwise IGL has the right to charge cancellation as follow;

1). Within 30 – 15 days, before the program start, would be charged 25%

2). Within 14 – 8 days, before the program start, would be charged 50%

3). Within 7 days, before the program start, would be charged 100%

4). No show would be charged 100%
